Welcoming Baby Brother | A Natural Light Newborn Session in Fayetteville, AR

There is something so incredibly tender about watching a family settle into a brand new season together — especially when that season includes a proud big brother completely smitten with his new baby sibling. This beautiful newborn session in the studio was filled with so much warmth, softness, and connection from beginning to end. From the moment they arrived, it was obvious how deeply loved this little boy already is. Big brother may have had plenty of energy (as toddlers do), but he was also endlessly curious about his baby brother — gently touching his hair, sneaking kisses, holding tiny toes, and soaking in every moment. Those are the moments I always hope to preserve during a newborn session.

One of the things I loved most about this session was how relaxed and natural everything felt. Mom and dad were able to simply slow down and love on their babies while I guided the session gently along the way.

One of my favorite parts of this session was watching big brother completely lead the way.

Toddlers are never expected to sit perfectly still or smile on command during my sessions. Instead, we play, explore, cuddle, and embrace their personalities exactly as they are. Some of the sweetest moments happen in the in-between — the giggles, the curiosity, the kisses, and the little moments of movement that tell the real story of your family.

Along with documenting the connection between this beautiful family, we also took time to capture simple and timeless solo portraits of their sweet newborn baby boy while he peacefully slept.
